My name is Kevin Simeon, a young 23-year-old recent Washington State University graduate from Spokane, Washington. Growing up I was just like everyone else, going to school and working towards a degree to land a good job. However the summer of 2014 would change my life forever. A trip studying in Thailand had completely derailed these office job plans and had sparked my passion for travel. Studying and living in the wonderful city of Chiang Mai, Thailand had opened my eyes to the beauty of our world, and allowed me to learn more than I ever had in college. Since then, I have traveled to 18 different countries, lived in 3 different ones and completely filled my first passport by the age of 21. Traveling to each country wasn't enough; fascinated with the various cultures, I have also taken the time to learn: Mandarin Chinese, Korean and Thai.
After completing my undergraduate studies in 2017, I was left with a foil-embellished piece of card stock and a debt of $48,000 USD. Making my $700 dollar monthly student loan payments is, and will continue to be a HUGE financial burden. However I am not going to allow this to dictate my present or future life. Proving the impossible possible is what I strive to do daily. Showing the world that anyone can have the luxury to see the world, regardless of their financial situation.
So join me and my adventures around our majestic globe!
Seeing the world and paying off student debt; making the impossible possible.
